This Google form application will ask for the following items, so please be sure to prepare the steps below before beginning the application. In some cases you will be asked to upload a document (reference letter, audio or video file, transcript). Upload is preferable, though you may provide a link to a file as well. As a last resort you may email the file to ttoglia@gmail.com, with "Pecci Scholarship" in the subject line, but please only email as a last resort.
1. Obtain the permission and the contact information (email and phone) of a music teacher or another arts-related professional who is wiling to provide a letter of recommendation on your behalf. You will have the option to upload the letter, provide a link, or email the letter to ttoglia@gmail.com.
2. Write a brief (3000 characters or less) written response about your future musical plans that you can copy into this application. Please answer the following in your essay: What is your inspiration and why do you want to study in your area of music? What are your goals both in and beyond college? How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
3. Attach a copy of your current college transcript, or a high school transcript if you haven't begun college yet. The transcript does not need to be an official transcript. You will have the option to upload your transcript into the application, provide a link, or email to ttoglia@gmail.com.
4. Music Performance or Music Educations majors must record a 3-5 minute performance video of your choice of classical repertoire. Please include two selections that contrast greatly in style and technique. The video should not exceed 5 minutes of music. NOTE: The camera must be located so that your entire body is visible as you perform. You may upload the video to YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive, or any other cloud service of your choice and provide the link in this application. It is very important that you set the permissions of the video to 'public' or ‘anyone with the link.’
5. Students pursuing Music Composition, Theory, or History, or Audio Engineering please upload musical scores, audio files, or other examples of work in your field.
